Meg Shockley has over 20 years of
legal experience in commercial real estate
and business transactions

Prior to serving six years as Corporate Counsel for real estate developer World Premier Investments, Inc. in Orange County, Meg Shockley practiced real estate litigation and transactional law at Agapay, Levyn & Halling in Los Angeles and Green & Hall in Orange County. 


Ms. Shockley has significant experience in handling all aspects of commercial real estate development, from simple matters to complex multi-parcel projects, including:

  • Acquisition and sale (vacant land, pads, operating centers)
  • Entitlements, permits, variances, general plan amendments
  • Construction (contracts, obtaining governmental benefits)
  • Leasing (shop leases, build to suits, ground leases)
  • Property management tenant issues and renegotiations
  • Structuring the most advantageous deal (JV, 1031s, TICs)


She also provides sound and creative strategies to resolve business and real estate disputes, helping to avoid the time and expense of litigation.



  • Ms. Shockley holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles (1997) where she served as Executive Editor of the Law Journal.
  • While pursuing her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree at Loyola Marymount University, she studied international business at the American University of Paris, France.
  • Ms. Shockley was invited by Stanford Law School to author a legislative analysis article that was published in Stanford's Law & Policy Review.
